Facial Plastic Surgery by a World-Class Surgeon

Dr. Brownrigg: My name is Dr. Peter Brownrigg. I came back to Ottawa 28 years ago to be the facial plastic surgeon, Associate Professor of it, at the University of Ottawa, and we’ve been here since. In my training, I got exposed to lots of different surgery. The one thing that got me going the most was rhinoplasty surgery. Cosmetic surgery is about improving one’s appearance, rolling back the years that have ravaged us or improving defects that people were born with. Sandra: Generally speaking, they would meet with myself first, and I would kind of get an idea of what it is that they have in mind for today. And then I would then go and introduce them to Dr. Brownrigg, and we would discuss in detail what he can offer for them that day. Sometimes we’re able to go ahead with say Botox or filler that same day if that’s what they choose. Or if it’s something on a larger scale surgery, we can go ahead and book that for them. Debbie: You immediately feel like family. Like someone really does care who you are and what you need and how you’re feeling. I took a year of researching what I wanted to do and who best to see. Dr. Brownrigg gave me that new person. Evelyn: I get to see the patients prior to coming in, and I get to see them usually after all their procedures as well. And the transformation that happens for each individual is amazing. Anne: It’s Dr. Brownrigg who is unique. The quality, the experience, his reputation is solid gold.
